How to Donate

Please consider donating to our campaign via e-transfer! Every little bit helps and is deeply appreciated! If you can afford to send $5 or $10 dollars, that goes a long way to helping print flyers. If you donate $100 or more, your name will go on the public record. You can send an e-transfer to kim@kimfry.ca and include your full name, address, and email in the message/notes section as required by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

This is a grassroots campaign, and I want to make sure we hit every door in Ward 2! Your donation will go to our lawn signs, flyers, and postcards to make sure we reach every voter. E-transfer is the simplest way to do this!

Important Note: the donation cap for an individual is $1,200, and you must be a resident of Ontario to donate. These contributions are sadly not tax refundable/deductible.

Please note that I can only accept donations from residents of Ontario.

What are the rules for campaign donations?

Any Ontario resident can make a contribution to an Ontario municipal election campaign.
Corporations, businesses, and trade unions are not permitted to make contributions.
Groups such as clubs, associations or ratepayer’s groups are not eligible to make contributions.
Federal or provincial political parties, constituency associations, or registered federal/provincial candidates cannot make contributions.
Individuals can donate up to $1,200 to a single candidate;
All contributions above $25 must be made by cheque, money order, or by a method that clearly shows where the funds came from (such as certain debit, credit or electronic transfer transactions).
